Content of Sports Certificate
The reason why a sports certificate considered best for awarding is the easiness and comfort of preparing. It is very easy to select design and layout of any certificate but content area required special attention. Therefore, underneath is the list of content which is widely used in sports certificates. It is given below;
1- Date: A sports certificate starts with date at very right upper side. Usually, it is blank by default, in order to make it more accurate as per event’s date or match’s date. It follows common date format starts with day, month and year.
2- Title of Certificate: A title of certificate is posted at center top area of certificate. It can be simple as well as specific title based on requirements. It comes with bold font style with bigger font and color to make it more prominent.
3- Name of Player: Immediately after title, there comes the space for player name who is selected for this honor. Since, it is unknown till the date of match or event, therefore, there is simple space provided with blank bold line. The organizer or authorized official can fill the name, after the event or match is over. There are certain cases, where these awards are presented after the event therefore, certificate creator can write the name with the different font style.
4- Chief Guest: This area is provided to appreciate the presence of chief guest. Usually, it is already filled as everyone knows the name of chief guest however in certain cases, it can be left unfilled.
5- Details: The body area of certificate usually consists of some details regarding tournament or event as well as location address. This area can be expended based on requirements but usually two separate lines are given for details.
6- Signatures: In the bottom area of the certificate, there should be ample space for officials to post their signatures. It is very critical because without official signatures, it wouldn’t consider official certificate. As per general practices, there should be two official who must sign on this certificate, before awarding it to winner or nominated player. Underneath of signatures, there should be space for the name and rank of officials who are appointed to sign.
7- Special Note: At the end of bottom area, there is a space for special note. It is usually consists of two or three lines, where few words can be written while presenting the award or after the award is presented. It can be lines either from chief guest or by nominated person.
